Golden Bakery – New Head Office & Production Facility

Golden Bakery had outgrown their existing premises and purchased the adjoining building, which was in poor condition and not suitable for immediate occupation. The client required a solution that allowed business continuity, early operation of a new production kitchen, and compliance with complex statutory and authority approval requirements

Zera Projects delivered the project through a staged construction approach that prioritised early operation of the production kitchen while maintaining momentum across the broader refurbishment works. The delivery strategy focused on re-using suitable elements of the existing structure, managing partial demolition and upgrades, and coordinating complex design and approval requirements to achieve program certainty and minimise disruption to the client’s operations.

The production kitchen became operational approximately six months earlier through a sequenced construction program. The project increased operational floor space to approximately four times the size of the original facility, consolidated production and office functions into one location, and improved the overall value and street presence of the asset.
